About

As an Information Technology professional with high-level experience in the IT industry, I learned that the best way to achieve success was to motivate the resources I had with well-defined objectives and empowerment. A management belief based on integrity, quality, and service, along with a positive attitude, an aptitude for strategic thought and planning, and the ability to adapt quickly to new ideas and situations allows me to achieve consistent and significant successes in multiple industries.

My Personal Profile Says:
  • A confident, driving individual who reacts quickly to change.
  • A self-starter with a strong sense of urgency who responds positively to challenge and pressure.
  • A fast learner who is a practical and ingenuous problem solver.
  • A fluent and articulate communicator, flexible and responsive. A self-directed, goal oriented person.

From a very young age I have always had a fascination with technology. I used to take apart my toys just to figure out how they worked. Although sometimes I had more parts left over from these exercises the toy still seemed to work.

In High School I found a love for technology in the Theater Department. This is where I found and learned how to program a computerized light and sound board. I also found fascination in building and creating set pieces from nothing.

Following High School I worked off and on at a local theater company building, creating and running shows while learning everything I could about Information Technology. In 1997 I upgraded my first home computer bought from salvage parts. Even then for some reason I still had extra parts and pieces that didn't seem to go anywhere. I continued this trend until I landed a job doing inbound customer service for Dell Computers Support. Although this was the start of my Information Technology Journey; it was not my break. I learned some valuable skills and received my first Information Technology Certification A+.

I applied for a several I.T. Jobs after leaving Dell Computers. Most companies passed over my resume until I interviewed at "The Road Home". While I was thrilled at the opportunity for a job that would launch my career, I was not excited about working for a Homeless Shelter. When I received a call saying "We would like to offer you the position of Information Technology Specialist!" I was hesitant to accept a job at the shelter. I mustered every thought I had an accepted the position. I worked at The Road Home for more than 5 years. I loved every minute of it. Every day was a new challenge, a new learning opportunity and a new problem to solve! My deepest gratitude to The Road Home, its management and executive administration for giving me the opportunity to succeed.

After 5 years and starting a family it was time to move on and "Start" my career. Although I learned more at The Road Home then I ever thought possible, I still did not have the qualifications to accept a "Career" position. I was lucky to accept a position at Martin Door Manufacturing as a Network / Systems Administrator. This position while challenging and tough at first offered me many learning opportunities and my second certification of MCSA SQL Server 2012. For 2 years I was able to subscribe to online learning. I stuffed every course I could from Network Administration, CCNA, and Systems Administration to Web Development.

Sometime during these few years is where I feel I gained the knowledge and skill to accept more oppertunities to succeed in my career
